Can I place my order over the phone or in person?
You certainly can! Call us at 1.844.888.MDRN (6376) to place your order over the phone or to arrange a visit with us in person at either of our showroom locations to place your order.
What are my payment options?
We accept cash payments and interact in store, and all major credit cards in store and online.
Do you charge taxes?
Modern Komfort is required to collect sales tax on all orders. Please note that all taxes are charged based on the local sales tax in your respective province.
Can I combine multiple discount codes?
No, only one discount code can be used per order.
Is your website secure?
Your personal and financial security is a top priority for us! We work hard to ensure technical safeguards are in place to protect your information. Any information you transmit on modernkomfort.ca is processed by an industry-standard data encryption system. You can also submit payment over the phone.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Upon placing an order you will be sent a confirmation email immediately after your order has been successfully submitted. We will also send you an email with further details regarding shipping times and to notify you of any special instructions for your order within 48 hours. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please check your junk folder or contact us. Please also contact us if you have any further questions.
Are all items on your site in stock and ready to ship?
At Modern Komfort we make every effort to keep products on our site that are in stock and up to date. However, we do work with a variety of manufacturers and some of our products ship directly from their warehouse. Occasionally, items may be out of stock, backordered or recently discontinued. Should this be the case, you will be notified within 48 hours of placing your order. You will then have the option to hold your order until the item is in stock or receive a full refund.
What if I need to change my order?
Before purchasing any of our products please read the description and be sure to check the measurements. If you are uncertain or require more information than what is provided, please contact us and we can help answer your questions. Sometimes colours of fabrics and materials may appear differently on your screen than the actual product.
Please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order should you need to cancel or modify it. If the order has already been shipped from our warehouse or the manufacturer, we are unable to cancel or make changes, even if you have not yet received your tracking number. What if I am not completely satisfied with my purchase? How do I return it?
We make every effort to select and sell products constructed of the highest-grade materials built by highly skilled people to exacting standards. We also keep up-to-date information on all our products so that you may make informed choices when purchasing from us. However, we understand that sometimes you may simply change your mind. We want your experience of shopping at Modern Komfort to be a positive one.
You may return your item(s) within 14 days of receipt for a refund of the purchase price with some conditions. Please refer to our return policy section on our site for more details. Some items do not qualify for return and a restocking fee may apply.
Who pays for return shipping?
Returns must be returned to either our Fredericton or Ottawa location at the customers expense. Please see return policy section for more details.
What is your policy on damaged goods?
Items are carefully designed and packaged to withstand the rigors of travel, but sometimes damage does occur en route. Please inspect your purchase immediately upon receipt. If there is any damage or if any product is defective, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt by filling out our damages and defects claim form and include 3 digital photos including one of the box that the item shipped in. Please also include a detailed description of the damage, date received, original order number, name, and address. Make sure to keep all of the original packing material. We will work with you to provide a satisfactory resolution in a timely manner.
